This was the closest series so far. Splitting with a rival going into the last week of the season. The entire series was separated by 2 runs (San Jac 16-Blinn 14) and was dominated by the pitching on both sides.

Game 1: San Jac 4- Blinn 2

Blinn jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the 4th. That was erased in the bottom, however, thanks to a 2 RBI double by Jacob Matheny (Mizzou Commit) and then Herbert Iser bring Matheny into Score later that inning to make it 3-2.

Game 2: Blinn 4- San Jac 2

Going into the 8th Blinn was up 3-0 with no answer for Jacob Millender. Herbert Iser and Peter Zimmerman had Back to back homers to bring it to 3-2 but that was as much as their offense could get going. in the 9th Freshman Bryce Miller came in striking out 2 and getting his 1st save of the week.

Game 3: Blinn 5 – San Jac 4

San Jac Jumped out to an early 3-0 lead in the second. Blinn chipped away in the 3rd with a 2-run homer from Brandon Ashy to make it 3-2. San Jac answered in the top of the 5th with a Sergio Macias Single that brought in 1 run. In the bottom, the 5th Blinns Brandon Ashy had a 2 RBI single to tie the game up then Sammy Blair had a 1 RBI single which was the last run of the game.

Game 4: San Jac 6 – Blinn 3

This game was back and forth the entire time. i was never more than a 1 run game for longer than an inning until the 7th when San Jac pulled it to 6-3.
